WHAT IS A PROVOCATIVE PORTRAIT?

The dictionary defines Provocative as "serving or tending to provoke, excite, or stimulate". But WHAT excites us, what is SEXY, is different to everyone. Every woman has her own unique "sexiness" and the men who love her are drawn to that uniqueness. We think a "Provocative Portrait" should be the essence of that original, particular allure that is hers and hers alone. Sometimes it's subtle, sometimes it's brazen and sometimes is takes a Master Photographer of Women to capture it. Robert Scott Hooper is that Master Lensman, who's expertise photographing woman for magazines from around the world is confirmed by two Playboy Magazine photo awards.

WHAT IS NOT A PROVOCATIVE PORTRAIT?

Please, let's just throw the words boudoir portrait out the window, and please, no glamour shots. Not that these are bad words, but today they pretty much mean that you are going to have your picture taken on the same background, wearing the same lingerie, with the same lighting, make-up and hairdresser as every other woman who walks in the door. The light stands are glued to the floor so the untrained shooter (I hesitate to say photographer) doesn't make a mistake and move them. These type of portraits are great if you want quick, easy and cheap. But they are not "Provocative Portraits."

THE "EXPERIENCE" OF A LIFETIME

Unless you are a model, few women get the opportunity to be in front of the lens of a real "master" photographer and experience the creative fun of being in your own fantasy. And that's how we treat it...your fantasy. Do you see yourself as a glamourous Marilyn Monroe type on white satin or would you rather play in leathers on a Harley Davidson? You can plan the trip around a stay at a nice hotel, a day in the spa getting the whole treatment before your "big shoot".
